Who’s Behind Yes, We Gotchu!?

Yes, We Gotchu! started in early 2021 by founders Jiyuu and Mirai.

We’re a queer couple living in Manila, Philippines. Kamusta? Masaya kami kasi nandito ka. 🙂

We created this blog because we want YOU to:

  • CHOOSE YOURSELF — love yourself, be kind to yourself, cherish yourself, kahit ano pa gender identity or sexual orientation mo.
  • STOP feeling guilty or ashamed of yourself just because you’re LGBTQ+. Lahat tayo ay tao. 
  • KNOW that there’s NOTHING WRONG with being a part of the community. You’re not committing any sins, nor are you a bad person.

Lastly, we made the Yes, We Gotchu! community to let you know that:

  • You’re not alone. 🙂
  • You deserve love and kindness.
  • And you’re valid, whether you’re out or not.

Why are your faces hidden?

– It’s not really hidden. 😀 We want Yes, We Gotchu to be about YOU, because we’re your trusted friends who have YOUR back, especially when it comes to loving yourself and accepting yourself. It all starts with YOU — that’s why we opted to remain in the background instead. 🙂

How old are you?

– Our loved ones and random strangers tell us we look forever 21, so that’s what we’re going with!
